Vicim of the Night
Olivia Krise

crying tears of blood,

bruised lips part, languid curtains unfold

the stage: a smile, serrated and rancid

a thick, scarlet flesh licks and slimes

metallic tang observed

delicious.

eyes peeling capaciously, wrathful steel

sclera’s drained crimson

pointed at you

staring

scheming

creeping ever closer
